Melissa, TX — Northeast Dallas Area

Located in Melissa, Texas, this branch serves the surrounding areas of Northeast Dallas.

Job Summary

As an Irrigation Technician at TruScape, you'll be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing sprinkler systems on residential, HOA, and commercial properties. You'll help keep landscapes healthy while ensuring our clients' irrigation systems run efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform seasonal system checks ("wet checks") for proper coverage and function
  • Diagnose and repair broken sprinkler heads, leaks, and clogs
  • Adjust controllers and programs for seasonal changes
  • Communicate findings clearly with clients and supervisors
  • Document repairs and recommendations

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous irrigation or landscape experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Texas irrigator license (or willingness to pursue) a plus

Job Summary

The Commercial Crew Lead oversees a team responsible for the upkeep of HOA communities, condominiums, and commercial properties. You'll lead by example, ensuring every property is serviced on time, safely, and to TruScape's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and work alongside crew members during daily maintenance
  • Communicate with supervisors and report issues or enhancements
  • Train and motivate crew members
  • Maintain safety standards as outlined in our safety manual and ensure proper use of equipment

Skills & Requirements

  • 2+ years in landscape maintenance or crew leadership
  • Ability to operate and maintain commercial landscape equipment
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license (CDL not required, but a plus)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

The Residential Crew Lead manages a small team maintaining private homes and estates in the Northeast Dallas area. You'll ensure properties are consistently neat, healthy, and aligned with client expectations, while fostering good communication and efficiency within your crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and work with crew members on routine lawn care and yard upkeep
  • Perform and supervise mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and cleanups
  • Communicate directly with homeowners if needed
  • Report irrigation or plant health issues to management
  • Ensure properties are left tidy and secured after every visit

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous residential landscape maintenance experience required
  • Leadership ability and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Bermuda, St. Augustine, and Zoysia grass care
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Professional appearance and reliability a must
